Health Protocol Raids to Anticipate Crime in Suramadu

Kapolsek Kenjeran Police Commissioner Esti Setija Oetami said the raid was held to discipline residents regarding health protocols. Then also to anticipate crime.

"So we are also authorized to people who are concerned about carrying prohibited items. We hope that the people who pass through Surabaya are orderly. Alhamdulillah, until now there has not been any person carrying suspicious items which will be made a criminal act or the result of a criminal act," said Esti to detikcom, Monday (12/10/2020).

He also confirmed that this raid was carried out in anticipation of the mass movement that would follow the action in Jakarta. "Yes, so our job is to secure the route.
